She was a faithful member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, High Point, NC, first under the leadership of the late Dr. J.W. Flake and now under Bishop Reginald B. Kellam. She was a member of the Missionary Ministry and Senior Choir, which she loved dearly.
“Sister” was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was happy to fellowship with them. She would always remind us that she was the oldest, and we weren't going to forget it. "Sister" enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, going out to eat, traveling, and walking. She would also remind us to be on time and not get up late when picking her up. She was an active participant in the Southside Reunion, never forgetting her roots.
Agnes trademark smile, distinctive laugh, kind, generous, and loving spirit will always be remembered. Although we will deeply miss her, her memory will live on forever in our hearts. She will continue to inspire us to live our lives with love and kindness towards others.
