James Little. Sr. Obituary

In Loving Memory of James Christopher Little Sr.

James Christopher Little Sr, 64, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at High Point Medical Center. James was born on April 8, 1961.

James was a hard worker at High Point Furniture Market for over 30 years before he became ill. He loved grilled food and could grill anything you put in front of him. He made sure that when he cooked, he shared a plate or two with someone, no matter who they were or how far he had to go to share his dinner.  It brought many hungry souls joy and happiness. He never met a stranger while he journeyed through in his life. He was so wise, witty, knowledgeable,  and smart. His nieces and nephews loved their uncle Chris  because he always said something off beat to make them laugh. He made sure he got to know each and every one of his family members by name. From his brother and sister to the great great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son: James Christopher Little Jr., his mother, Amanda Derrenie (Peoples) Little; father, Jerry Little Jr.; grandparents, Herman and Cynthia Peoples, Jerry Sr. and Thelma  Little;  two brothers, Jerry Dean Little III and Guy Van Little Sr. and a brother, Tommy Lee Little (unknown).

He left behind a memory of love with five sisters: Shelia (Gerry) Little Baldwin, Sharon (Ronald) Little Allen, Shirley Little Sangare of High Point, NC, Amber Little, and Darlene Little of Seattle Washington; three brothers, Saviod (Tina) Little, Patrick E. (Anne) Little, and Johnie Crouch of High Point, NC; best friend, Brent Herndon (more than a brother). An army of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and so on; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Chris, the world could not break you as you marched through life. You endured much pain and we never knew. You hung on as long as you could to see others through. You paid the price to be free. For that we are all going to miss you and know that you are at peace.
